Bundle of His electrograms in congenital corrected transposition of the great arteries. A study of two adult cases.

چکیده
His bundle electrograms were recorded in 2 adult cases of congenital corrected transposition of the great arteries. Both patients had prolonged HV conduction and a His potential that was wide. These findings are different from those reported in congenital atrioventricular block without ventricular inversion wherein an abnormality within the AHperiod has been found. It is suggested that these differences reflect different sites of disturbed conduction. In congenital corrected transposition of the great vessels, the abnormality is distal to the atrioventricular node, whereas in congenital atrioventricular block without ventricular inversion it is generally proximal to the atrioventricular node.

Electrophysiologic delineation of the atrioventricular conduction system at surgery is described in two patients with corrected transpostion of the great arteries in situs inversus. Intra-atrial electrograms were recorded in one patient from sites immediately adjacent to the coronary sinus located in the left-sided right atrium. The intraventricular portion of the atrioventricular conduction sy...

Dextro-transposition of the great arteries (d-TGA) is the one most common cyanotic congenital heart disease in neonates. The discordant ventriculoarterial arrangement results in parallel circulation, it so is vital to understand the management. We report a rare interesting but critical case of 33-day-old boy who developed cyanosis and had transposition of great arteries combined with interrupte...

Congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries CCTGA is a rare congenital disease first described by Von Rokitansky in 1875. Transposition of the great arteries comprises 2.6 - 7.8% of all cases of congenital heart disease, and if uncorrected, is commonly fatal in the first year of life. Patients with corrected transposition of the great arteries without associated defects may remai...
متن کاملIncessant bundle branch reentrant ventricular tachycardia in a patient with corrected transposition of the great arteries
Introduction Bundle branch reentrant tachycardia (BBRT) is an uncommon but clinically relevant macroreentrant ventricular tachycardia (VT) involving an impaired His–Purkinje system and the ventricle as a reentrant circuit. BBRT is commonly associated with structural heart diseases, including cardiomyopathy, old myocardial infarction, valvular disease, and myotonic dystrophy. Patients with conge...
